The four plans, compared

What Free, Basic, Pro and Lifetime each include, what the differences actually mean in use, and which one most people need.

All prices are in US dollars. Every plan uses the same encryption, the same delivery machinery and the same audit log. What changes is how much you can store and how many vaults you can have armed at once.

Free — $0

  • 100MB encrypted storage
  • 1 active vault
  • AES-256-GCM encryption, email delivery, full audit history

Not a trial. No card, no expiry, no nagging. If one vault holding a message and a couple of documents is what you need, this is a complete product and you can stay on it indefinitely.

Basic — $10 a month, or $96 a year

  • 1GB encrypted storage
  • 5 active vaults
  • Priority support

For people running a few separate arrangements at once: one for family, one for a business partner, one for a colleague, each with its own timer and recipient.

Pro — $15 a month, or $144 a year

  • 10GB encrypted storage
  • Unlimited active vaults
  • Self destructing files
  • Custom check in intervals, any value from one hour to thirty days
  • Priority support

The two features here that people actually upgrade for are custom intervals — a 10 or 21 day timer instead of the nearest preset — and self destructing files.

Lifetime — $179 once

  • Everything in Pro, permanently
  • 10GB encrypted storage
  • All future updates
  • No recurring payment

Roughly a year of Pro. If you expect to keep a vault running for longer than that, the arithmetic is straightforward. It also removes a real failure mode: an expired card cannot quietly drop you back to Free.

Which to choose

Start on Free. It costs nothing and you will learn within a month whether one vault is enough. Upgrade when you hit an actual wall — a second vault you want armed, a file that will not fit, an interval the presets do not offer — rather than in anticipation of one.

Annual billing

Annual works out at about 20 percent less than paying monthly on both Basic and Pro, and it is one renewal a year to notice rather than twelve.
